From Showman's Show to luxury glamping village
The journey began at The Showman's Show last October, where the Houchins team visited the Norlight stand and discovered the inflatable yurts on display. Looking to expand their on-site accommodation and offer something truly special for wedding guests, they were impressed by both the luxurious appearance of the yurts and the practical benefits they offer. Quick to install, spacious and beautifully designed, they provide a premium glamping experience without the complexity associated with more traditional structures.
Following the show, Houchins invested in multiple inflatable yurts complete with luxury padded liners, creating stylish and comfortable accommodation for guests wishing to extend their stay.
To complement the accommodation, they also selected a matching canopy to create a welcoming communal space where guests can gather, socialise and enjoy the spectacular surrounding countryside.
Supporting venues every step of the way!
Investing in glamping accommodation is a significant decision for any venue, which is why support beyond delivery is so important. To ensure everything was set up perfectly, Damian and Alex travelled to Essex to install the yurts and canopy free of charge. They also provided hands-on training for owner Adam and his team, covering installation, operation and practical tips to ensure they felt confident managing the structures themselves in the future. The result is a glamping setup that not only looks stunning, but can also be operated efficiently and with confidence.
A successful launch
Once the glamping village was complete, Houchins owner Adam organised a launch event to showcase the new accommodation. The event was a huge success, with positive feedback shared across the venue's social media channels, demonstrating just how enthusiastically the new accommodation has been received.
