Our capability comes from our close partnership with VSLOAR, our parent company whose Mongolian heritage reflects the origins of the traditional yurt. VSLOAR now operates from a large, modern manufacturing facility in China. This blend of authentic roots and contemporary engineering allows us to develop new ideas with speed, flexibility and precision.

Working directly with VSLOAR’s team, and through Norlight’s hands-on design, we can explore concepts, create prototypes and bring custom designs to life efficiently. This collaboration keeps Norlight at the forefront of product development and gives our partners opportunities that are rarely available elsewhere in the industry.

This approach has already produced standout innovations such as the NOR AirLux5, our five metre canvas inflatable Yurt with its luxury insulated liner, the dramatic NOR Eclipse, a stunning canopy made from black Yak-hair and several upcoming developments including a brand new Air Yurt model using recycled ocean plastic. We also create tents in bespoke colour palettes for corporate events and large custom canopies for boutique festival sites.
